Infection Control
Ensuring the safety of your medical equipment such as medical couches, plinths, patient treatment chairs and seating is vital.
If an upholstered section is penetrated and the inner foam can be seen, or if it is a permeable fabric material then it is impossible to carry out proper cleaning and decontamination of a potentially contaminated surface.
Re-upholstering the covering with a high-performance antimicrobial vinyl will keep your equipment safe and hygienic if you have an unsuitable material upholstery or any scuffs, slits or tears that presents an infection control hazard.
As part of the sanitisation process we will also top / replace old foam if it is damaged, worn or has become weak.
Sanitized® antimicrobial in our vinyl provides a high level of immediate and long-term protection against micro-organisms and bacteria reducing the growth of Clostridia, MRSA, VRE and NDM-1. The Biocide ingredient also deactivates and prevents the growth of Coronavirus.
The Sanitised technology within our high-performance vinyl offers ongoing protection between cleaning cycles and remains active no matter how many times it is cleaned.
The Materials
Our materials are CQC compliant:
Antimicrobial & antiviral medical grade vinyls ensure safety and provide protection. COVID-19, MRSA, VRE, NDM-1 and E-coli resistant.
